Mission Statement What is IPPEC's Role? |
|
|
The International Piano Performance Examinations Committee (IPPEC) exists to provide a graded system of examinations in music, based in Taiwan, by providing not only quality music examinations, but also educative services to the teachers, students and music learners. IPPEC has worked very hard to gather all the useful educational information and resources for our music data bank in order to help students and teachers to achieve their goals in music studies. As musical education has been receiving more and more attention,
numerous music learning centers come into existence in market; most
of them are owned by musical instruments franchised companies.
Despite of numerous private music institutes existing, Taiwanese
music students face an environment where none of these organizations
can offer an academic-oriented evaluation system nor can they
provide a complete educational consultation in terms of further
studies in music. Therefore, IPPEC was initiated in 1989 to serve
the needs of music students in Taiwan. IPPEC Features • a qualification that is widely recognized and respected.
