Jill Lin

Jill Lin is currently a candidate of Doctor of Musical Arts at The Catholic University of America, studying with Dr.Ivo Kaltchev. She holds her master and bachelor degree from Manhattan School of Music and Soochow University, where she studied with Dr. Arkady Aronov and Dr. John Vaughan.

She had received guidance from numerous esteemed pianists such as Boris Berman, Alexandre Moutouzkine, Joanne Polk and Alexander Braginsky. As the winner of the 2021 Concerto Competition at Catholic University, Ms. Lin was invited to perform with the Orchestra of The Catholic University. She also represented The Catholic University to perform in the piano trio when The National Association of Schools of Music visits in 2022.

Jill Lin has been praised for her “excellent sense in music…especially the lyrical quality” by the piano virtuoso Alexandre Moutouzkine; the eminent piano virtuoso Arkady Aronov also described her as “a gifted pianist with bright artistic talent and brilliant technique… her music also has unique sincerity…”. As an active soloist and chamber musician, Ms. Lin has appeared in performances at major venues such as Weil Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center Bruno Walter Auditorium, The DiMenna Center, Merkin Hall at Kaufman Music Center in New York City; and National Recital Hall in Taipei and Weiwuying Recital Hall in Kaohsiung.
