Dean Sky-Lucas performs as soloist and chamber musician throughout Australia and abroad. He is widely known to Australian audiences through numerous national broadcasts, both live and pre-recorded with ABC FM, Sunday Live and Radio National.

Festival engagements have been notable with 8 in 10 months during 2003, including the Melbourne, Adelaide and Brisbane International Festivals.

During 2004, Dean performed the role of the singing pianist in ChamberMade opera's "Recital" in the USA, the Melbourne Season and the Victorian tour.

Dean has held various official accompanying and associate artist positions across Melbourne including the Australian National Academy of Music where he was appointed as the first full-time associate artist.

During 2006 Dean co-lectured with Claire Cooper in accompanying at the University of Melbourne and he has toured NSW with Ensemble Troika for Muscia Viva in Schools since 2004. In 2007 Dean was the principal repetiteur with Victorian Opera in Stravinsky's Oedipus Rex and Les Noces.2008 featured a 3-week artist in residence appointment at the University of Auckland, touring for Musica Viva in Schools throughout the South of New South Wales, lecturing and performing at the University of Melbourne and multiple projects with Victorian Opera.

Dr. Sanchez holds degrees from the National Conservatory of Music ˇ§Carlos López Buchardoˇ¨ and Ball State University. After serving in the faculty at St. Petersburg College for several years, Dr. Sanchez was appointed Assistant Professor of Piano at Texas A&M University-Commerce in the Fall 2007.
